Good evening everyone, I hope you all are having a great day. I was asked not long ago about what to do when I lose my motivation to workout.
My answer is very simple. You have to remind yourself of why you first started. Sometimes we tend to lose focus of why we started and we end up falling by the wayside. Our jobs, moods, or other outside circumstances, sometimes dictate whether or not we continue on the fitness journey.
Remember this, we all fall short at times. I know that this is cliché but truth is that it is not how many times you fall nor how hard you fall. The only thing that matters is whether or not you continue to rise. Every time you rise from a fall, you rise higher than the previous time. You are smarter and more knowledgeable, and you know how to handle those rough spots.
These are my words to those that are lacking motivation. When the motivation dips, remember your reason for starting the journey. Don’t allow life to beat you down and keep you there because it will if you let it.
